Privacy Policy
Llama Drama · Effective 29 October 2026
Llama Drama is a party game, not a data business. There are no accounts, no ads and no tracking. Almost everything stays on your devices. This policy explains exactly what the game and this website handle, why, and how to have it deleted.
1. Who we are
Llama Drama is made by Spaghettcode, the Netherlands, KvK 76459047, VAT NL003089082B87 ("we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described here.
This policy covers the Llama Drama app on Meta Quest, Android phones and iPhone, and this website (spaghettcode.com). For any privacy question or request, email[email protected].

3. What the game handles and why
3.1 Crash and error reports
Llama Drama is built with Unity. When the game crashes, freezes or hits an error, Unity's crash reporting sends a report to Unity Technologies over an encrypted connection. A report contains the technical error and where it happened in the code, your device model and operating system version, the game's version, and a random installation identifier that Unity creates. Like any internet request, it reaches Unity from your device's IP address.
Reports contain no name, email address, contacts, location, photos or anything you type, and we cannot link them to you. We use them only to fix bugs and keep the game stable.
3.2 Meta Quest platform
On Meta Quest, Meta's operating system checks that your Meta account owns Llama Drama when the game starts. The game itself does not read your Meta user ID, your name, your friends or your avatar. The headset's Report button opens Meta's own reporting tool; reports go to Meta. Meta's software in the app may also send technical usage and performance data to Meta. Meta handles all of this under the Meta Quest privacy policy.
3.3 Playing in a party
To play together, the devices in a party connect to each other directly; the game does not run through our servers. Within a party, the devices exchange:
- the llama name you type, which everyone in the party sees (you don't have to use your real name);
- your llama's or the Giant's look, your level, your movements and your button presses;
- a random token that lets a phone that drops out take back its own seat. The host keeps it in memory for the session only;
- to find each other: the party code, and the host's device model and game version.
The same applies when a phone joins by typing the host's address instead of the code.
3.4 Stored on your device
The game keeps these on your own device, and we never receive them:
- your settings (sound, controls, comfort options) and your llama name;
- your progress: level, XP, coins, unlocked and worn looks, and round statistics;
- the last party address and code, so you can rejoin quickly;
- on the headset, your favourite worlds for each room;
- log files for troubleshooting: device model, system version, graphics chip, memory, screen size, language, game events, and any notes made with Report a problem, including the llama names in the party. A Report a problem note is also written to the logs of the other devices in your party.
The logs never leave your device unless you send them to us yourself. On iPhone they are visible in the Files app.
3.5 When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach, such as logs or screenshots. We use it only to help you.
4. Mixed reality and your room
The Giant's headset uses the room setup that Meta's operating system keeps on the headset, and the headset's live depth sensing so the world can hide behind your real furniture. Depth and hand tracking are used only on the headset, as you play; they are never stored or sent. The game never receives images from the headset's cameras.
From your room setup, the game makes a simplified layout (the shape of the floor, heights, the world built on it, and an ID for the room) and sends it only to the phones in your party, so everyone plays in the same world. Phones keep it in memory and drop it when the party ends.
5. This website
spaghettcode.com is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, your browser and the page you request. The site uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking, and loads nothing from other companies. The store buttons take you to Meta, Google or Apple, whose own privacy policies apply there.
6. What we don't do
- We don't have accounts, so there is nothing to sign up for or delete.
- We don't sell personal data, share it for advertising, or show ads.
- We don't track you across apps or websites, and we don't use an advertising ID.
- The game has no in-app purchases: looks and coins are earned by playing.
- The game doesn't use your microphone, camera images, location or contacts, and it has no voice or text chat.
7. Legal bases
Under the EU and UK GDPR, we rely on:
- providing the game you chose to use for the party connections and the data stored on your device;
- our legitimate interests in a stable game (crash and error reports), a secure website, and answering the messages you send us;
- legal obligations where the law requires us to keep records.
8. Who else handles data
These companies process data for us, only for the purposes above:
- Unity Technologies: crash and error reporting (privacy policy);
- Cloudflare: website hosting and security (privacy policy);
- Zoho: our email, in its EU data centre (privacy policy).
We require them to protect personal data at least as well as this policy does. The stores and platforms you use (Meta, Google and Apple) process data under their own privacy policies when you get or run the app through them: Meta,Google, Apple.
9. Security
Crash reports, this website and our email use encrypted connections. Party traffic goes directly between the devices in your party and is not encrypted, so play on networks you trust. We keep the data we hold to a minimum and limit who can access it. If we ever add an online service, such as a relay server for parties, we will update this policy before that version of the game is released.
10. Retention and deletion
- On your devices: until you delete it. To delete everything the game stores: on Meta Quest, uninstall Llama Drama; on Android, go to Settings → Apps → Llama Drama → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall it; on iPhone, delete the app.
- Party data: only in memory while the party lasts.
- Crash and error reports: kept by Unity for a limited time and deleted automatically; the random installation ID is kept for at most 90 days.
- Emails: up to 12 months after the conversation ends, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
- Website logs: kept by Cloudflare for a short period under its policy.
Ask us to delete your data
Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my data". It is free, and we answer within 30 days. We will delete everything we hold that we can link to you, such as your emails. Because there are no accounts and crash reports contain nothing that identifies you, we usually cannot find a particular crash report; those expire automatically. If we must keep something by law, we'll tell you what and why.
11. Your rights
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you can ask us for access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction, a portable copy, and you can object to our processing. Email[email protected]. You can also complain to a data protection authority; ours is the DutchAutoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or you can contact the one where you live.
US residents: we do not sell or share personal information, do not use it for targeted advertising or profiling, and do not process sensitive personal information. You can ask to know or delete what we hold by emailing us, and we won't treat you differently for asking.
12. Children
Llama Drama is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We don't knowingly collect personal data from children: there are no accounts or chat, and nearly everything stays on the device. The llama name is free text, so parents may want to help children pick a name that isn't their real one. If you are a parent and believe we hold your child's data, email us and we will delete it.
13. International transfers
We are based in the European Union. Unity and Cloudflare may process data in the United States and other countries. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
14. Changes
We will update this page when the game or this website changes how data is handled, and change the effective date at the top. For important changes we will also mention it in the game's update notes.
